Profile

Not many quartets can boast Ave Maria, Adele, Charleston, West Side Story and the Jungle Book on the same setlist. But then this quartet are not like any other... piano, clarinet, violin and cello join forces for a stunning range of vintage, film themes, pop and classical tunes. You name it, they can play it, whether it’s a romantic wedding breakfast or a glitzy cocktail soiree, this glamorous all-female group can create the perfect mood. The only quartet of its kind in the UK, the girls sound more like a small orchestra than a traditional string quartet, moving from fun and jazzy upbeat numbers to seriously beautiful classical themes at the flick of switch.

“A truly superb quartet,” says the General Manager of the Grand Hotel, Brighton, where they are currently resident. Penny, a film composer, is also residentpianist at the Grand; Tessa has played violin on the Jools Holland show; Emma was previously clarinetist with the Sussex Symphony Orchestra and cellist Rosanna has recorded with various artists in UK and Europe including John Wood. 100% professional and110% reliable, the quartet are available for events in the UK, Europe and the Hollywood Hills with an excellent keyboard, PA system and their own transport.
