DA CAPO DUO Guide to fee £384
DA CAPO DUO Profile
Formed in September 2003 at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM), Da Capo Duo has firmly established itself in Greater Manchester and the surrounding area as a versatile performing ensemble. Having been accepted onto the RNCM’s Professional External Engagements list, the duo has developed a busy concert schedule. Da Capo Duo has performed extensively in collaboration with LIME (a co-operative venture between Music in Hospitals and Live Music Now), taking them into the heart of the local community, as well as giving many recitals. Through this variety of work, their experience and teamwork is apparent, and audiences have commented on their rapport, clear communication and the professional manner in which they present themselves and their music.
Sarah Atter is currently a scholarship student at the Royal Northern College of Music and the University of Manchester studying on their prestigious Joint Course intended for musicians with outstanding practical and academic ability. In June 2007, she was awarded a first class BMus(Hons) from the University of Manchester.
Since 2004, Andrew Booth has been studying the guitar at the Royal Northern College of Music under Gordon Crosskey and Craig Ogden. He has also played in masterclasses with Gary Ryan and Chris Stell (Eden-Stell Duo) and had lessons from David Tanenbaum and Thomas Kirchoff (Amadeus Duo). He joined the Da Capo duo in 2006 and has already made a huge impact with his flawless playing.
Highlights
We are just back from our honeymoon and wanted to write to thank you so much for arranging for the Da Capo duo to play at our wedding reception. They played beautifully and we have had so many comments from the guests about how much they enjoyed their music. I wish I had had a little more time to stop and listen, in amongst talking to everyone! Thank you so much for helping us with all of the arrangements - the whole process was incredibly easy and professional and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend either Gigz Management or the Da Capo duo to anyone.
