Darren has been in the DJ industry for 10 years, playing a wide range of music dating from the 1950's to the present day. He is passionate about his music, picking up his first set of decks as a schoolboy. He now plays at a wide range of events across London and has built himself a fantastic reputation as a consummate 'crowd pleaser'.


Venues played include Pembroke Lodge, Nonsuch Mansion, City Of London Freemans School, The Mango Tree Belgravia, The Radisson Edwardian Heathrow, The Lanesborough, The Natural History Museum, The Imperial War Museumand and The Mary Green Manor Hotel.

" DJ Darren was absolutely fantastic. He was kind friendly and sociable. He played the type of music we asked for and even asked us he we wanted the requests played. He got the party started and it stayed all night. People did not want to leave. All of our guest have said how amazing the DJ was and a couple of guests even tried arranging him to do their wedding. Would book DJ Darren again. Would not even consider anyone else. Such a lovely man and great DJ THANK YOU DJ DARREN you made our wedding day rememerable to our guests :-) "

" Metropolis and Darren were brilliant. Everyone danced just about all night - they delivered 2 superb sets and the DJ kept us going until 1.00 (party finally over around 3.30. The weather was perfect so we were delighted. We will be throwing a Viva Geneva party once I recover from this and I would love to use them both again.Many thanks again. "

" From initially signing up and managing the process through on your web site to Darren's set on the day everything was fantastic. You have set up a very cool way of dealing with something that could be quite stressful and worrying, payment was easy and it was clear when and how to pay, we were reassured all the way through that we were in safe hands right up to Darren phoning before the big day to check everything over with us. Darren was fantastic, he was very keen to make sure we were happy and he listened to what we wanted and on the night his perception of what to play when, was faultless, as well as playing a lot of stuff off our playlist (probably all of it!?) he also dropped in some real classics and some tracks that really captured the mood. It was the best wedding reception music I’ve ever experienced and as someone who loves their music the fact that it was our wedding was amazing. Thanks again, we'll be recommending you "

" I was quite anxious about hiring a DJ after a disaster with a previous birthday party but Darren was excellent. He was friendly and professional at all times, somehow managing to keep everyone happy which isn't easy with an age range of 3 - 65! The floor was packed 90% of the time and lots of guests commented on what a great DJ he was. We will definitely recommend him to all our friends and use him again should the need arise. How we manage your booking

Booking an act with Gigz is just the begining. To make sure your event runs as smoothly as possible on the day;

  • We will send you a secure online booking form. This page can be saved on your computer and accessed and updated as often as you like.
  • Your event manager will be in touch via email and phone regularly througout the build up to your event.
  • We can arrange for your act to call you should want to discuss tings with them directly.
  • We will liasie with your event coordinator or venue manager to ensure that they are happy with all the logistics.
  • You will be given a contact mobile number for your Gigz event manager should you need to contact them on the day of your event.
