Groove Nation are a Young, energetic, professional and exciting 5-8 piece function band featuring amazing male and female vocals and world class session musicans. The band play rock & pop classics from an extensive repertoire complete with top equipment, Lighting and sound engineer.

Groove Nation are an international party band made up of the highest quality professional musicians who specialise in performing music from a wide range of genres including Rock, Pop, Funk, Soul, Motown ,Indie and Disco.

Groove Nation's wealth of experience performing is highlighted at some of the highest profile events in the country including The Conservative Party Conference in Manchester,The Rugby Union Cup awards show, The Molinuex football stadium( To over 36,0000 people),The NIA, The NEC arena, The Lord Mayors ball, live performances on Sky television and BBC Radio as well as live performances at the montreux jazz festival and the Glastonbury festival. The versatility of the band means that they are not only ideal for corporate events but also for weddings and civil partnerships .They are also regularly perform at university balls, birthday parties , awards ceremonies, festivals and concerts.

What Sort of Music Do They Play?

With an extensive and varied set list Groove Nation can cater for all ages and musical tastes, including classic songs by The Beatles, Tina Turner and Stevie Wonder all the to the more modern sounds of Kings of Leon Jamiroquai,Jack Johnson, rihanna,Amy Winehouse and Alicia keys all the way to intimate solo guitar pieces or 3 piece jazz ensembles plus many, many more! with enough booking time we can also offer to learn the first dance or a special song for your event or choose from a selection of popular first dance songs and be absolutely sure that guests of all ages will be up dancing and singing all night!

What will the band look like?

Male and female fronted. The band have formal and Smart casual attire. ( if you have a specific colour theme we will also theme our dress and lighting to suit). The band can be booked from a three piece line up all the way to a 10 piece show level line up (the minimum space we need is only a stage space of 5 x 4 metres for a four piece band)

Superior equipment

Groove Nation have several pa systems to cater for diffrent size events ranging from 50 to 700 people and also hire in larger PA with qualified engineers for bigger venues. we uses a 5000 watt full range high definition JBL and Mackie Pa system, plus lighting including 8 x par 56 LED cans with built-in sound-to-light controllers so you have full stage lighting as well as disco lighting for your dance floor. The band use only the very best instruments, amplifiers and microphones, including EBS, Fender, Gibson,Yamaha,Sanberg, Boss,Roland,Korg, Alan and Heath, Neumann, Shure and Akg Microphones and Pearl drums and percussion.

And for when the band are not playing...

They offer as standard music between sets at no additional fee. A band member will control a laptop with Dj software in between live performances and make basic announcements,

Dj Package, Groove Nation will use their lights and PA system during DJ sets so there is never any awkward gaps between the band and the disco service.

They also take Specific requests for music in advance and source any preferred tracks if they are not in their library of over 20,000 songs.(please forward any lists to us well in advance). The Dj service offered by the band is significantly less than the cost of a separate DJ.
