MOWGLI Profile

Mowgli have been a professional 5-piece band for over six years now, after first collaborating for a one-off 4 month tour in the French Alps. Comprised of a diverse group of London session players having played with the likes of the Kooks, Ellie Goulding, Will Young, Status Quo, the Vaccines, Marillion, Lady Gaga, Mica Paris and Kubb, Mowgli's unique take on classic funk, rock and soul grooves blended with distinctive modern party anthems the kind you just don't see bands do, sets them aside from the mass of function bands out there.

With professional musicians who have toured the USA, Asia and Europe and played some of the worlds biggest venues, studios and festivals (Wembley Stadium, Abbey Road, Glastonbury, V-Festival etc), this band really know how to put on a show. With a repertoire as far reaching as Beyonce, Michael Jackson, and Chaka Khan, to the Foo Fighters, the Beatles and Queen, this band are as versatile as they are talented.

Just got back from our honeymoon, so apologies that we have not written earlier to say how fantastic the band were. They were a great bunch - very friendly and relaxed. They completely got the mood of the event, playing some classics at the beginning and then after a 1/2 hour break where we had a DJ, they played some huge club/ modern hits and the dance floor was packed, until no more encore's were allowed from the reception venue management! Very happy to recommend to all who will listen and really cannot commend enough how talented, professional and friendly they were.Many thanks for helping make our wedding such a special day.Best wishes
