Once everyone got warmed up Patrick kept us dancing to the end and, on one occasion when people were less keen on his choice, reacting very quickly to keep things going (I only made it half way to the bar before turning round and heading back to the dance floor!). He definitely got his head around the kind of music we wanted and in particular put together an excellent mix of some of our favourite dance tracks which we and others really enjoyed - a number of our friends commented on how good he was after the event. I would be grateful if you would pass on our thanks to him for helping to make our day so much fun. We found booking though Gigz Management very easy and painless, and would certainly do so again if we have the need for live music.

We booked both our string quartet for the church and drinks reception (Blond Quartet) and our DJ (Patrick Kelly) via Gigz Management. It was one of the few completely pain free things we had to organise. Dave was brilliant and always responded straight away with any queries, which made booking and organising very easy for a stressed bride!! Blond Quartet played a perfect selection of music; walking up the aisle to them playing Pachelbel’s Canon in D was just as I dreamed! Patrick Kelly was fantastic. We were quite nervous about booking a DJ rather than a band, but Patrick was brilliant and I can’t recommend him highly enough. He played one great song after another and I have had so many guests tell me how great the music was all night long! Thank you.

Having spent hours deliberating about what music to play, we provided Patrick with a list of very random music - old style classics, cheesy pop, indie and dance tunes as some of our requests. We were worried that perhaps our taste and randomness really wouldn't work - but Patrick played them all and mixed them in such a way that it all blended in perfectly. He had people on the dance floor immediately and it was permanently packed with none of the quiet parts you so often get with Wedding DJs. The highlight of the evening was when he started to mix Prodigy's 'No Good' into a song - the look of disbelieve when the mother of the bride ran from the bar to the dancefloor to dance to one of her 'favourites' was an absolute classic. The music was so good, I completely forgot worrying about my dress and who might stand on it - a sign of a wicked DJ. Our friends haven't stopped talking about what a brilliant night it was.
