PLAYLIST: THE DOORS ALIVE

THE DOORS ALIVE Profile

The Doors Alive are a faithful and stunning tribute to the legendary 60s group The Doors.
The band recreates the looks, sounds and vibes of The Doors and have a great front man who has the voice, spirit and looks of the late great Jim Morrison.

The band have been together for 3 years and, in that space of time, have played over 100 gigs to thrilled audiences at venues covering almost the full distance of the UK, from Falmouth in Cornwall to the Orkney Islands in Scotland.

The highlights have been their performances at open air festivals in England, Scotland and Germany where they have played to over 1000 people and got the most people up dancing. Their tours of Scotland, Manchester and Liverpool where they played to packed venues, leaving people calling for more.

The band play all The Doors hits including the classics such as the stunning versions of Break On Through, Love Me Two Times, LA Woman, and Backdoor Man. All these songs are faithfully recreated along with the sets highlights, the timeless Alabama Song, a spellbinding take of When The Musics Over and the 2 songs most associated with The Doors - Riders On The Storm and Light My Fire.

The Doors Alive captures The Doors organ-dominated avant-garde bluesy style to perfection, with the brilliant keyboard player who plays the organ and bass on a vintage Vox organ and Fender Rhodes bass, the same instruments as used by Ray Manzarek of The Doors.

The band had a busy year ahead in 2007 with tours all over England and Scotland, and playing festivals in Germany and Scotland.

The band guarantees to keep the great music of the legendary The Doors ALIVE!

Quote mark If you like The Doors I'd say it's about as close as you can get, we had to stop letting people in half way through their set because the marquee was at capacity, the crowd loved them. Quote mark
