The Motorways are a lively and energetic, professional 3-piece function band. They play rock and pop classics from the 60s through to the present day, with a large repertoire of guaranteed floorfillers ideal for any wedding, party or event. Based in London, The Motorways are known for their friendly and helpful approach in providing just what you need for your evenings entertainment.
The musicians that make up the band have a wealth of experience in the function and session world, having worked with numerous artists such as Sophie Ellis Bextor, Jamelia and Will Young. They have also enjoyed success with their own original material, having recorded an album in Los Angeles with top record producer Bobby Brooks, and supported Nelly Furtado and The Feeling on tour. Most importantly, each member has played, with various bands, at literally hundreds of weddings, functions and parties, so they really know how to put on a show!
With their professional look and extraordinary musicianship, The Motorways will give you a fantastic evenings entertainment, catering to all ages, keeping the young and the old dancing all night long!

The band were friendly and approachable when they arrived and got on with setting up without any interruption to the wedding party. The sets were excellent and they judged our guests well, people were on the 'floor all night! They played requests and were flexible with our dances and announcements. They really helped us to have an amazing wedding. Even letting one of our youngest guests have a go on the drums!! We were thrilled!
Gigz management did us proud and the form you fill out before hand is a great idea. You answered all our questions promptly and we would definitely recommend you to others!

It was a brilliant day and the band went down a treat. They looked after themselves and didn’t bother us at all just got on with it! They let our drunken mates sing on their microphones apparently and played a great and varied set, there was something for everyone young and old. It really made the day having a live band of this quality. Thank you to you Dave and Gigz Management for all your help in booking the band, the process was seamless and you kept in touch with us letting us know what info you required and when. The online booking information is a great tool as we could go in and update it as and when we confirmed timings etc. Will definitely use Gigz at my next wedding! ;). Thanks again

I just wanted to say how brilliant the Motorways were at our wedding. We have had so many great comments about them. The vocals were as good as their demo and their playlist was fantastic. The dance floor was full all night and it wasn't just because everyone was well oiled.
