The music that you choose is no exception – it has got to be perfect, and quite often the band or DJ you choose can be the difference between "an amazing wedding" and just "an average one".
How many wedding receptions have you been to where the setting, food and speeches have all been fantastic… and then the band or DJ starts and suddenly the atmosphere dies? Within half an hour everyone is chatting at the bar and the party is all but over. On your special day you need a guarantee that not only will this not happen but that the music

Just got back from our honeymoon, so apologies that we have not written earlier to say how fantastic the band were. They were a great bunch - very friendly and relaxed. They completely got the mood of the event, playing some classics at the beginning and then after a 1/2 hour break where we had a DJ, they played some huge club/ modern hits and the dance floor was packed, until no more encore's were allowed from the reception venue management! I wanted to write to express our thanks to you for all your assistance in the organisation of the band for our wedding on the 14th April 2012, throughout the planning and set up you were very helpful and we are grateful to you for your assistance. We would also like you to pass on our thanks to the band as they were simply fantastic. Given their write up, we were expecting them to be good, however they were wonderful. Throughout the set up and before they started they were incredibly professional and flexible as they patiently waited for us given we were running behind. They played an amazing set and allowed some of our guests to sing with them which was a real treat. They created an incredible atmosphere and really made the evening - so many of our guests commented on how great they were.So thank you again for your help and our thanks to the band, we would definitely recommend Gigz and Fourplay to others.
The Tricks played at our London wedding a few weeks ago and they were excellent - they played a good mix of old and current tunes and guests of every age flocked to the dancefloor. They accommodated us in starting later than planned and playing right through until the end of the night, and also kindly granted my request to sing a track with them, assisting with any forgotten lyrics! We received many compliments from guests who asked how we had found such a professional and personable band, the guys were a pleasure to have at our reception and I would not hesitate in recommending them. Rory was amazing in supplying the music for the evening, he managed to play all our requested songs and the other songs he did play were great also i dont think the dance floor was ever empty which is a great crdit to rory again who was extremely friendly and helpful especially with the many drunken requests he got (mainly from the bridesmaids). Also thanks to you and everyone at gigz, the booking and enquiry process was extrememly easy and any quiries were answered very quickly which is very helpful especially witht he day to day stresses of organising a wedding!!! it truely was a great all round experiance and we look forward to using you again.
Thank you so much for playing the music at our wedding. The day was not only perfect (people have not stopped talking about it!) but it certainly reached our expectations and above. A special thank you to Paul our DJ for the evening, he was fab! Paul introduced himself to my husband and myself at the beginning of the evening and when he started the disco he played great music all night. Paul played to the crowd, he had a good selection of new and old classics, which made the guests want to get up and have a boogie!! Thank you agian for being part of our day, our guests also said it was nice to have good music as it created a lovely atmosphere were both families could dance together and have fun!!!
It was a fabulous day, thanks. I think the service from Gigz Management was great and would recommend you to others. Rory did a great job both pre wedding in terms of seeking to understand what we wanted of him and on the day just playing the music everyone wanted to hear. We later remarked that there were people on the dance floor all night so that proves it!
